Mercodia Rat/Mouse Insulin FIA provides a method for the quantitative determination of insulin in rat or mouse serum, plasma or culture medium. The kit is based on the same highly specific monoclonal antibodies as our other rat/mouse insulin assays and show insignificant or no cross-reactivity to C-peptide or proinsulin.
Please note that the Mercodia Rat/Mouse Insulin FIA is delivered in bulk (10 pack) and is suitable if you run larger quantities of samples.

The Mercodia Rat/Mouse Insulin FIA is based on the direct sandwich technique including two monoclonal antibodies directed against separate epitopes on the insulin molecule, one antibody coated on the plate and one HRP conjugated antibody for detection. The bound conjugate is detected by reaction with a fluorescent substrate.
