The Mercodia Porcine C-peptide ELISA is a highly specific immunoassay with excellent analytical performance and precision. There is no or insignificant cross-reactivity to C-peptide in human, macaque, mouse or rat samples. Also, there is no or insignificant cross-reactivity to insulin and proinsulin in porcine, human, mouse or rat samples.

Mercodia Porcine C-peptide ELISA is a solid phase two-site
enzyme immunoassay. It is based on the sandwich technique
in which two monoclonal antibodies are directed against
separate antigenic determinants on the C-peptide molecule.
C-peptide in the sample reacts with anti-C-peptide antibodies
bound to microtitration wells and peroxidase-conjugated anti-
C-peptide antibodies in the solution
