Troubleshooting

Under each problem you will find the most common solutions to problems that arise in ELISA assays.

Make sure you read the directions for use before starting an assay. Be sure and bring all reagents to room temperature and that correct pipette tips are used for appropriate volumes.

High signal in some or all wells No signal in any well No signal in one well Low signal in all wells High background High CV (coefficient of variation) Lower concentration than expected Higher concentration than expected
