The importance of proinsulin measurements.
Until now, determination of rat and mouse proinsulin has been performed by using labor-intensive methods such as separation of proinsulin from insulin by chromatography. Mercodia now offers an ELISA method, that specifically measures rat and mouse proinsulin with no cross reactivity to insulin or C-peptide.
Mercodia Rat/Mouse Proinsulin ELISA may be combined with Mercodia Rat and Mouse Insulin ELISA assays or Mercodia Rat C-peptide.
